Art Never Ends
This is a temporary page currently in the works.
Last year one of my lap tops containing an archive of my artworks dating back 20 years was looted from my shop. I have not been successful in tracking down more images of past and some more recent works so I will be starting over posting current and future art projects. Thank You for your patience.
Some of my digital designs and creative planning can be seen throughout my website.
My creative name Ané is short for Art Never Ends. It reflects every element in my every day life, manifesting in one way or another as a form of expressive, sustainable art. In this page I will share some of my curious endeavors. My mediums span across many platforms. Graphic Design, Furniture and space Design, Mural Restorations, Graffiti Art, Abstract painting, Illustrations and creative writings.
With Street art roots in Los Angeles dating back 30 years, in 2020 I initiated the “Organization for Outdoor Cleanup” - OOC. Originally conceptualized in 1991 as “Out Of Control”, the young idea of organizing street artists and community beautification was not a realistic obtainable goal. 30 years later, Im still painting galleries, walls, canvases and collaborating with other like minded artists. This allows me to expand my creative endeavors, styles and techniques for personal and client projects.

A few murals for Snoop Dog and 19 Crimes
In late 2020 I was commissioned to paint four graffiti inspired murals in Los Angeles and Long Beach for Snoop Dog’s most recent collaboration with 10 Crimes Wines. “Cali Red”. These murals incorporated traditional graffiti aerosol techniques with some wheat pasting and stenciling.
While my initial proposed “more colorful” concepts were turned down for a more conservative design, Spectators seemed to really appreciate the final approved monotone design. On day one, of painting the first mural, a well known spirit brand hired a muralist to paint a branded mural directly across the street from my first location. Unfortunately for them, their mural was defaced and destroyed immediately after its completion. Our mural remained unmolested until our 3 month reservation expired. This proved to me and my clients that even with incorporating high profile celebrity name dropping like 19 Crimes or Snoop Dog, It is still very important to protect the mural / advertisement investments with some home grown and community rooted street art.
20 years ago, most people would not accept graffiti art as a professional branding element, but these days graffiti art is exhibited in art galleries, mansions, museums and visual billboards all over the world. In an ever evolving city like L.A. where urban cultures have become trendy, it helps when the artist has some history and notoriety within the graffiti community he is painting. This was clearly the case with this project.
Graffiti Art is more than Street Art
I enjoy reading city walls. I can drive through a neighborhood and identify its social stance by reading its walls. There is a big difference between Gang territory warnings, Political branding, Graffiti Tagging and Street Art. I consider myself a street artists. Born and raised in South Central LA, I’ve been painting graffiti art on and off since the late 1980s. Street art for me is a regressed expression of my ghetto upbringings. I’ve recently re ignited my admiration for Street Art and have lined up several projects I look forward to sharing soon.
I am currently working on retrieving some of my lost street art archives and will be posting more in the weeks and months to come.
in 1998 I was honored to be featured along side my crew K4P on a center spread of Rap Pages Hip Hop Magazine. My graffiti art has been featured in a number of publications that I hope to track down and share soon. In the mean time check out this recent article on the LA Times.

Furniture Design by Ané
As a big fan of everything Midcentury / Vintage, one of my biggest creative joys was designing a Midcentury collection for The Sofa Co in Los Angeles. This project spanned a few seasons and took inspiration from iconic celebrity personalities of the era, combining elegance, functional comfort, bold colors, attractive visual appeal and out of the box funkiness.
With no formal design training, my goal for each design was to incorporate vintage aesthetics with modern innovative comfort functions.
My first design “The Brando” featured a unique, one of a kind angled tight back with standard memory foam that added natural lumbar support while relaxing. Its elegant side wings allowed for a natural sense of nesting and comfort, making this visually and comfortably a one of a kind creation.
My second design “The Twiggy” shared a similar side win collar as the Brando and was designed with removable tufted back cushions that easily transform this funky compact sofa into a comfortable stylish daybed for guests while maintaining its stylish and sexy vibrance.
My third design “The Audrey” was al about simplicity and elegance. Its low arm rests made it the perfect sofa for open spaces, galleries and and impressive center pieces. Its button tight back added firm back support for long conversations while its petite waste line maintained a luxurious ambiance.
My fourth sofa design “The Butler” was designed to serve all your comfort needs. From your daily couch potato needs to hosting social gatherings and over night guests, its removable button tufted back cushions, low arm rests and deep seat cushion made this the perfect center piece for any conservative or casual room.
I believe that creating a fun theme to my creations that associates iconic time periods and personalities allows the designer or decorator to extend the same elements of inspiration into the room they are decorating. It makes space planning that much more fun.
My design endeavors also included a full line of headboards and storage ottomans that I will post images of soon.
You can’t sell ballet shoes to a football player.
In keeping with my vintage design theme for this Mid century Modern collection I incorporated relevant aesthetics and iconic references into my marketing creatives to better appeal to the right connoisseurs.
Set Design Work
In Early 2019 I worked on a few music and movie sets for a few independent designers and producers as a set builder and decorator. The music video bellow “Breath” by artist “Lil Skies” was the last music video set I worked on. The original set designers were unable to work on the project last minute so I was contacted two days before the shoot and was able to successfully design, build and decorate three sets for three different scenes in two long days!
Enjoy the Video.
Art Collection Souvenirs
For some time I have struggled with detaching myself from my work. To solve the dilema I always keep a souvenir from each collection.
Bellow are some souvenirs from some collections I have worked on.
